RE: [Release] Universal Movie Scraper - pcjco - 2013-02-08 (2013-02-08, 00:18)Nizolai Wrote:(2013-02-02, 20:44)pcjco Wrote: I wonder if there is not again a problem when retrieving genre (using IMDB or TMDB in the Universal Movie Scraper settings) Hi Nizolai, I didn't write it but the issue I reported has been solved for me when the addon update from 2.1.6 to 2.1.9. Genre is working up to now using IMDB (I have problem with OriginalTitle from IMDB though). RE: [Release] Universal Movie Scraper - olympia - 2013-02-08 (2013-02-08, 22:58)pcjco Wrote: (I have problem with OriginalTitle from IMDB though). Duhh, IMDb is getting more and more inconsistent accross pages. I will get this fixed. RE: [Release] Universal Movie Scraper - olympia - 2013-02-08 (2013-02-08, 22:17)Maetrik Wrote: Well, just tested Frodo and guess what. German title is still not grabbed from IMDb. What does "very slowish" mean? Weeks? Months? There are different reasons why i am not happy with Frodo so i'd like to keep Eden as long as i can. Try harder, this works in Frodo. For Eden you can patch it yourself from the Frodo code if you want. RE: [Release] Universal Movie Scraper - Maetrik - 2013-02-08 I've set "Get Title from IMDb, Language de" , thats the setting i use since i started playing around with universal scraper months ago - Sample Movie: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0137494 "Entrapment" is scraped as movie title for original AND german title. What am i doing wrong? It's not a big problem as i use a MySQL editor to change some stuff from time to time and can correct the titles, but if its not a scaper issue, then i might do something wrong. Maybe i switch to use TheMovieDB for german titles, they should be the same. Let me see if i can patch the Eden part RE: [Release] Universal Movie Scraper - Maetrik - 2013-02-09 Ok i even got lost within the first 5 rows of the xml, i'll just wait and hope that there will be an Eden version anytime. I'll do manual modification of genre and title until then. I'll do manual modification of genre and title until then. hahh, you only need to compare the two XMLs (the one from Frodo wih the one from Eden). This is not something very difficult to do RE: [Release] Universal Movie Scraper - olympia - 2013-02-09 (2013-02-04, 00:08)Maetrik Wrote: Feature request: Its very nice to have the option to set outline to "none", would love to have that option for tagline as well Added at v2.2.0 (2013-02-07, 21:59)SorryGoFish Wrote: I've manually added .nfo files with the proper IMDB URL for a few TV Movies (e.g. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0430926/). The information gets scraped properly, but the year comes out as 0. (Note the year string on the site is "TV 2005"). Fixed at v2.2.0. Again, for TV movies you don't need nfo file. Fixed at v2.2.0 RE: [Release] Universal Movie Scraper - Maetrik - 2013-02-09 Well i compared the xmls and tried to copy things over, but had no luck. Many thx for the possibility to set taglines to none in newest version, i guess i'll have to move to Frodo within the next weeks as my beloved Universal Scraper will not be the only addon which will be supported very slow for Eden versions from now on RE: [Release] Universal Movie Scraper - GBB1 - 2013-02-09 Very strange behaviour from the 'Universal scraper' with default settings. Just received and installed the update, started with a fresh Frodo db and all movies are scraped. However, for some is the plot, tagline, ... missing and for others it's just fine. It's already a relief to see all my movies in the library with a nice cover and title. But there are some who don't have a rating, plot, tagline, .... I am now on smallband. Could it be related that it times out sometimes? Ever after manually rescraping the movie, by a refresh for 'All the boys love mandy lane' it's still not getting all the info. And when looking at imdb.com it clearly has everything there... The movie 'Alien Nation' had all info, so there must be a difference somewhere?! Strange, don't think it has to do with my smallband though. RE: [Release] Universal Movie Scraper - GBB1 - 2013-02-09 Update on the matter: I just did a new refresh on 'All the boys love mandy lane' and now all info is coming throug. Very strange, so it has to do with being on smallband... Is there a specific time that the scraper waits before it bails out? Yes, it is definetly related to the speed of the internet connection. For some movies I had to refresh 3 times to get all the data trough. And in the end, all the info became available. It would be nice to have an option to let the scraper wait untill it has all the info before bailing out.. You can look at increasing the curl timeout: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Advancedsettings.xml#.3Cnetwork.3E RE: [Release] Universal Movie Scraper - GBB1 - 2013-02-09 Thanks olympia, I'll try that setting RE: [Release] Universal Movie Scraper - mortstar - 2013-02-10 I see you added the option to have RT Critic's Consensus as Plot source. Is there any chance you could add the option to have IMDb Outline as Plot? This is what I manually edit the scraper to do on each update. I really dislike the spoiler filled full-length IMDb plots. Thanks for the continued great work on this scraper Universal. I know you get lot of moaning on this thread, but just to let you know that your work, and the rest of Team XBMC, is really appreciated. RE: [Release] Universal Movie Scraper - francovilar - 2013-02-10 Some of my movies are being scraped without year: http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=34589 on of them is "Dictator (2012)" using latest version and I use moviedb for almost everything. |
