@afedchin

March 15th build is now working nicely!
No green screen using latest available Nvidia drivers fwiw.
Tested with Avatar full MVC iso.
Thank you for all that you are doing.
Well done.

A reminder for the community:
There is a 'Thank User' button.
I think afedchin deserves many, many more rep points.
It's not much of a reward but it does show that folks are appreciative for his efforts.

Downloading drivers now, only the BIOS (before win10 install), and I figure Win10 update will install the rest. Re: the all-important graphics driver however, as Kodi is 32-bit, anyone know if both 64- and 32-bit versions should be installed? Or, should I really be installing the 32-bit version of Win10?

32 bit only uses less than 4GB RAM, With 64Bit i think more than 192GB or more, but i think Kodi windows only install on 32bit (X86).

But its not connected to my avr anymore , not even my projector... Sad (waiting for atmos receiver)

Try 2 different AMD hardware with no success
AMD A8-3850 APU
AMD FX-8350 Black Edition

Let me know if you get it work on your AMD

Kodi installs fine on 64bit Windows, it runs as a 32bit application though.

Yes!

I always like installing 64Bits windows, just in case I want to upgrade the memory.

Perhaps the latest build has not blurriness effect. Can you check?

Unfortunately, I return the i3 6th Gen Skylake due RAM issue, I am waiting for the e-tailer to provide me with some information, I will be rebuying once the e-tailer resolved my issue.

I will be glad to test it...

Enable VSync in settings (Settings -> System -> Video output) to avoid tearing in true fullscreen mode.

Does the log show that it's not enabled? I would swear that it was.

Will be a week till I can test the latest build. Schedules just aren't aligning. But all the hard work is constantly appreciated.

RE: 3D Bluray - afedchin - 2016-03-15

the tearing occurs if VSync is disabled in Kodi or somehow in driver setting. no need a log to guess.

I'm 99% sure it was set properly in Kodi. Where is the setting in the driver? It's a very prevalant problem in full screen mode and does very wacky things with at least 1 eye's image.

RE: 3D Bluray - dchabby - 2016-03-15

tested new build on Celeron 2957U - nothing changed for me. Video is slow and out of sync with audio on MVC MKV and the picture is very jumpy. And I mean its jumping up and down, not jumping forward and backward. Also jumpiness is worse in one eye.

HSBS files - video is in sync with audio and at perfect speed but I still get the jumpy picture.

log here - http://xbmclogs.com/p1nscmubz

going now to test on laptop i5-3210M

RE: 3D Bluray - Karnis - 2016-03-16

Question: I don't have a 3D receiver, which means I need to connect directly to my HDTV for 3D. Has anyone had luck using another audio source like a separate sound card with optical/ toslink out so I can get core 5.1?

I tried using the HDMI output built in on the mobo but that was a no go.

Thanks in advance, I'm curious to know before I consider getting one....I thought my mobo had a toslink output but no such luck.
