Disabled the setting in the hardware section of the Systems window. rolled back the driver using DDU to 385.45 and then restarted the machine and let it set idle over night. Turned it on this morning and checked the driver update log from the device manager and noticed that it auto updated to 388.13 again 15 minutes after I walked away from the machine for the night. Like WTF how can I prevent this so I can just enjoy my HDR content?(2017-11-18, 05:43)Talguy Wrote: Is anyone experiencing that the nvidia drivers are being forced to update to 388.13. I had version 385.41 installed and experienced it automatically being updated without the software informing me three times tonight. each time it happened I was in the middle of a movie. I know 385.41 is the best driver to use for enabling and disabling HDR content and I want to stay on it. can anyone tell me what I need to do to prevent the drivers from updating besides disabling the auto download feature in Geforce Experience?https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=229692&page=22 I have it set up this way and it never updates graphic drivers on its own. Edit: I'm going to try this (https://www.howtogeek.com/302595/how-to-stop-windows-10-from-automatically-updating-hardware-drivers/) procedure next as I'm rocking the Educational edition of Windows 10 RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - Gee11 - 2017-11-23 is there a solution to switch between beamer and tv via remote? RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - leeosx - 2017-11-23 Thank you for your great app. I'm wondering if there is an guide to play bd-iso? about how to use an external player to do so ? thanks RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - brazen1 - 2017-11-23 (2017-11-23, 16:48)leeosx Wrote: Thank you for your great app.229692 (thread) RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - leeosx - 2017-11-23 thank you RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - xbmcwood - 2017-11-25 (2017-11-15, 02:45)boingman Wrote: Well, I had to manually install madvr in order to successfully play 4K HDR files with Kodi DSPlayer.i am trying to do this as well. but i can not for the life of me figure it out.. devices LG Oled 'B7, ONkyo 676, pc windows 10 with Radeon rx 550... i install kodi DSplayer 17.5 32bit. manually install MadVR.. now this is where im lost. i dont know how to configure madvr or DSplayer to play my 4k remux with HDR.. No experience with AMD but, open MadVrR control panel (madHcCtrl), select Devices (your device), select passthrough HDR content to the display, and tick send HDR metadata to the display. It was only the newer Nvida drivers messing it up by handing the HDR controls to Windows. Can't believe that MS still hasn't figured it out. RE: Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows - ashlar - 2017-11-26 (2017-11-21, 19:03)Talguy Wrote:It's "funny". The very same happened to me. I now have a NVIDIA - Display - 10/27/2017 updated ready to install. I'll now try and see how to remove it. But this is really unacceptable behaviour. There's a specific setting and Windows is disregarding it. How annoying.(2017-11-21, 18:31)ashlar Wrote:Thats exactly what I followed and still didn't work for me.(2017-11-21, 16:12)Talguy Wrote: Ok, tried this out last night.
