Win 7 x64, Ati 5700 and only black screen instead of video. I tried EVR on and off with no result. ANything i do wrong? Do I have to install something else instead of just xbmc? - Logandros - 2010-01-08 tiben20 Wrote:I just did the last commit if someone want to compile with vc express it should work Still no go http://pastebin.com/m79bf0af0 - carmenm - 2010-01-08 To all who want to dev on dsplayer. couldnt we talk on irc or gtalk? would be beter than here. - carmenm - 2010-01-08 Ok to everyone it builds perfectly here. @Logandros: you should take a look at log, apparently you dont have Directx SDk or the wrong version. As the classes it cant find are related to Directx - tiben20 - 2010-01-08 carmenm Wrote:Ok to everyone it builds perfectly here.he is getting a stupid compile error with dxsdk headers version http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=59610 If you want to talk about developement this is the development thread ps: i also noticed the player dont start from version after 26520 the 26523 broken the player but not the compiling - carmenm - 2010-01-08 What i mean tiben20 is maybe this thread should be only about your releases and maybe not about compiling problems, That s all. And also it would be easier to communicate i think - Background - 2010-01-08 Want only inform you that tibens`20 DSPlayer build reduces for me the cpu usage (Win 7). But i thought in the beginning that this was not so. XBMC causes the higher usage.... I tried it with MPC and the same...MPC has only ~ 4% http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=478041&postcount=52 I think that xbmc is not compatible to may 1.System (Link above) - o_dog - 2010-01-08 yeah, also noticed that xbmc takes up alot of cpu even when playing files. - Marbieskarb - 2010-01-08 Background Wrote:Want only inform you that tibens`20 DSPlayer build reduces for me the cpu usage (Win 7). Its something in XBMC 9.11 thats causing the high CPU usage and not with tiben20's player. I'm wondering if there will be a fix for this. There are a few threads open regarding the high CPU usage. All the ones I've tried don't work well. - robbaroon - 2010-01-08 Marbieskarb Wrote:Its something in XBMC 9.11 thats causing the high CPU usage and not with tiben20's player. Adding <sleepbeforeflip>0.85</sleepbeforeflip> to my advancedsettings.xml fixed my high CPU usage issues. - tomsab - 2010-01-08 i*windows Wrote:Hi Tibben this is really great work you are doing and long overdue. I understand it must be hard as hell to try and do the coding while replying to this thread over and over again, but I just have a quick qu. regarding windows 7 support - do you think a true working version of your mod will be available any time in the near future, or would it be wise to revisit here in a couple of months - best regards and keep up the hard work. Why don't you use the Rev25915? It works great on my Win7 System... - Obi Have - 2010-01-08 Just installed Dsplayer Rev 26487 on Athlon X2 5600/HD3200 box. Had some issues getting XBMC to recognize the advanced settings and had to rename a K Lite folder I couldn't uninstall, but I now have acceleration and 5.1 digital over HDMI. 720p mkv are running 2% or so over my network. Good job. |
