I like this animated icons very much, but at the home screen the animation using much CPU resources here (~about 25% on my machine Core 2 Duo 2.8GHz @ 1.6 GHz).I will make it optional for the home screen. Delay is the same. - ubuntuf4n - 2011-04-20 Big_Noid Wrote:Good news: the stable 1.0.0 version can now be downloaded through official XBMC repository! Congrats Big_Noid ! A recommendation from my side for this wonderful piece of work. Cheers Ubuntuf4n - Shinu - 2011-04-20 Big_Noid Wrote:The script has changed it's name from TvTunes to tvtunes. I bet you are using ember to scrape your movies. That's the reason I switched to native imdb scraper, I couldn't get working trailers to scrape with ember. - Shinu - 2011-04-21 Big_Noid Wrote:Works fine here, try debug log to see whats wrong. Here's the log: http://pastebin.com/jW7XjfRM EDIT: The nightly build i was using seemed to be a couple days old and had some bugs. hence why i was experiencing longer delays between backgrounds and some other bugs. but tvtunes still doesn't work. and now i've noticed that the osd when fast forwarding, rewinding or pausing is gone. this is why i stopped using nightly builds. was too many problems - ralob - 2011-04-21 I am using r680 (and nightly build) and when paused, the seekbar does not popup. I am poking around to see if I can find the cause as either skin or XBMC. Let me know if any extra information would be useful. - butchabay - 2011-04-21 @big_noid I thought this skin isn't yet ready for nightly builds, so i can't understand people reporting bugs tested with nightly builds so far. I think it doesn't make any sense to test a skin with unstable builds ... - boulala - 2011-04-21 Big_Noid Wrote:I bet you are using ember to scrape your movies. That's the reason I switched to native imdb scraper, I couldn't get working trailers to scrape with ember. yes sir. so what you're saying is if i scrape the movies with ember i will have problems in xbmc? thats to bad because ember is great and easy to manage all the infos for my movies. gone try the xbmc scraper with some separate movies and see if it can please my requirements. - ralob - 2011-04-21 butchabay Wrote:@big_noid You are correct and I apologize. - john.cord - 2011-04-21 Great Skin. Are there plans to integrate Apple Movie Trailers Lite in the Home Menu like AeonMQ? - BigNoid - 2011-04-21 Shinu Wrote:Here's the log: http://pastebin.com/jW7XjfRMI don't know what's wrong. I can't help you with this in something I can change in the skin. As far as I can see the script is called correctly in the log. butchabay Wrote:@big_noid ralob Wrote:You are correct and I apologize. If you use a nightly build, you can use the pre-eden branch of this skin, only through svn (see first post). The dharma branch (the one that is in the repo) is for XBMC 10.1 Dharma only. john.cord Wrote:Great Skin. Are there plans to integrate Apple Movie Trailers Lite in the Home Menu like AeonMQ?Not really, there is a sub-menu item for it under movies and you can always assign a favourite to it and attach to main menu. - ralob - 2011-04-21 Big_Noid Wrote:If you use a nightly build, you can use the pre-eden branch of this skin, only through svn (see first post). The dharma branch (the one that is in the repo) is for XBMC 10.1 Dharma only. I do indeed use the Pre-Eden SVN branch of the skin with xbmc nightlies. I did not know if you were adverse to bug-reports being reported on nightlies since I know the code is in flux quite a bit. If you do not mind, then I will post about anything that breaks or is unstable. - BigNoid - 2011-04-21 ralob Wrote:I do indeed use the Pre-Eden SVN branch of the skin with xbmc nightlies. If you do not mind, then I will post about anything that breaks or is unstable. I am a notoriously bad tester, so any help with testing is appreciated. I think what butchabay meant was that reporting bugs on a nightly build with the dharma release of the skin doesn't make sense. Also it's possible that a feature was built in xbmc that breaks certain parts of the skin and I haven't fixed it yet. I'll have a look at the seekbar when I get home and see if I can reproduce it. - ralob - 2011-04-21 Big_Noid Wrote:I am a notoriously bad tester, so any help with testing is appreciated. Whew, glad I was not making an ass out of myself by posting test results when they weren't wanted. I am glad to help in anyway I can, and will be more than happy to test Nox as I compile xbmc whenever beneficial fixes are implemented in the trunk. Thanks |
