RE: Eminence - leodido - 2014-10-15

Hey guys, I love the skin but noticed that sometimes on movies information if I go to watch the trailer nothing happens.
How do I fix that?

RE: Eminence - dkplayaclub - 2014-10-16

Just wondering why we don't get the same options for music hub as we do for TV and Movies hubs. Would be nice.

The music hub was a late edition and he hasn't gotten around to creating options yet.

RE: Eminence - nicki365 - 2014-10-16

RE: Eminence - wrxtasy - 2014-10-17

If your an Aussie, the Oz Weather add on will at least give you the current weather conditions in Eminence but no the forecasts.

RE: Eminence - jurialmunkey - 2014-10-17

Im pretty busy atm but I will try to get the weather sorted asap. Will need a bit of a redesign unfortunately as the default labels do not have hourly forecast and ext forecast is only 7 days rather than 10

RE: Eminence - sattekop - 2014-10-17

MEAMA posted this under the Carbon Skin thread. Maybe in the mean time it can help some of you.

For weather underground... easy.

1 - First change the version number in XBMC addons folder (no the user data ones) [weather.wunderground] > addon.xml - put 5.0.0 for example or XBMC Repo will stop it.

2 - Go to weather underground (http://www.wunderground.com) and create an account (it is free for 500 request, that is far enough).
You will get an API key.

3- in folder weather.wunderground/resources/lib edit wunderground.py

Changes to make :
> ligne 7 // WUNDERGROUND_URL = 'http://api.wunderground.com/api/YOUR_API_KEY/%s/%s/q/%s.%s' (YOUR_API_KEY is replacing the %s)
> ligne 10 // url = WUNDERGROUND_URL % (features, settings, query, fmt) (remove the decode key before "features")

4- Reboot XBMC

I tried to encode the key but doesn't work, so i burnt it inside the URL...

RE: Eminence - jurialmunkey - 2014-10-19

Okay weather is now fixed so you can use ozweather or yahoo etc.
Also transifex is now up and if you are a transifex member you can contribute here:

Had to say farewell to the hourly forecast Sad

Yahoo! only has a five day forecast so you get N/A for the last forecast box, and it seems that oz weather doesn't give sunrise/set info, so still looking for a more full-featured weather add-on. The forecast should work for all weather add-ons now.

Currently on github, should be on the repo in the coming days.

don't forget about this one -- http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=180878
it's still in early stages, but with @ronie working on it, I'm hoping for great things!

Yeah I have high hopes for it being a wunderground replacement, but its not repo ready so can't really skin for it atm. Hopefully it becomes the default if it is good enough because yahoo! is a little lacklustre imo. OzWeather is good, but obviously only for Australia so even if I skin the advance features a big chunk of users are not going to get that stuff.

So true. Little BOM radar would look pretty good though........Nod

RE: Eminence - Woppie - 2014-10-19

The new weather skin is nice, but it only displays time in AM/PM though the main clock is in 24 hour format.
It's just weird not being used to the am/pm system.

RE: Eminence - simphax - 2014-10-19

Just wanted to say that this is my favourite skin so far :-)

RE: Eminence - wrxtasy - 2014-10-20

@jurialmunkey - are these weather changes easily back ported to your superb Arctic ii skin ?

The codebase is pretty similar after all.
