Gui is at 1920X1080 60hz and playing it switches to 1920x1080 23hz.

Why are you making this so difficult, just install @afedchin MVC build on an Intel hardware and you are done...Cool

Seriously? It is on Intel Hardware I3 6100 HD 530.

Stop trying use playercorefactory.xml and if you had Nvidia drivers on the PC, uninstall and install the latest Intel GFX Drivers,2D video glitching is the least problem with this build.

Its not 2d video glitching, thats fine. I'm not using Nvidia, I'm outputting through intel since I want to be able to bitstream at some point and intel can do 23.976 correctly. Both films with 8 channel audio glitch during 3d playback, the other films without 8 channel audio don't. I'm convinced it has something to do with the audio, but since I don't have a receiver that can do Hdmi, I can't hear any audio right now. I'll have to suspend testing until I can hear the audio I guess.

Are you using the latest (July 14) build? It has issues with TrueHD/ATMOS in M2TS, BDMV and ISO. Try June 30 build.

RE: Intel HTPC/NUC's w/reliable Kodi-native 3D MVC Playback - brazen1 - 2016-07-27

Fwiw, Nvidia also does 23.976 perfectly.
There is no 8 channel, aka 7.1, audio glitch in 2D or 3D playback using file structure or container such as iso or mkv.
As movie78 stated, if you have no need for an external player, afedchin builds do bitstream, do automatically switch 3D MVC mode and have no glitches making the build suitable for most users. There is no need for a playercorefactory unless you are trying to enhance something using an external player for reasons posted earlier. It sounds like you are band aiding a problem with your hardware/software by substituting a perfectly good working internal player with MPCHC. You would like to seamlessly call MPCHC within Kodi but your playercorefactory isn't up to the task. Either fix your immediate hardware/software glitch or write a correctly working playercorefactory. To say a playercorefactory doesn't work anymore is false. You've been provided with complete working instructions. Not sure how else anyone is going to help you?

I am using the latest build, these files are DTS-HD though. I could try the earlier one.

Maybe you think it does, but everyone else will tell you Nvidia cannot output 23.976 correctly. Not sure how you are magically doing it. At any rate, I"m not using external players now, I couldn't if I wanted to because its not using the playercorefactory. My playercorefactory works fine with Jarvis, it will not work on Krypton, I have no idea why. So I am using the stock internal player on the MVC build and the files are glitching. Thats the best I can describe it, the file is playing and there is like a white flash or something in the glasses. Only happening on the 8 channel or 7.1 channel if you prefer.

RE: Intel HTPC/NUC's w/reliable Kodi-native 3D MVC Playback - brazen1 - 2016-07-27

No magic to it. There are no dropped or skipped frames and I have a very discerning eye. I also use Intel AND Nvidia and there is no difference. All the info is out there to help you. Perhaps you should rewrite your playercorefactory to be compatible with Krypton like I did. White flash or something in the glasses? Have you checked your glasses against working setups like your displays internal player?

I can tell you right off the bat, this line is incorrect for Krypton.

We can agree to disagree with the Nvidia, there are definately dropped frames unless you use reclock or sync to display or you made a custom resolution and managed to get it work with 3d as well.
Yes, the glasses work fine, i use them every weekend. I've been using them for 5 years watching HSBS and HOU, and it works fine playing Jaws in 3d and they work fine playing on MPC-BE with madvr separately.

I changed that, still no go, Krypton just doesn't recognize it. Jarvis gets it fine on same machine.

What resolution do you have Windows set to?

I"m assuming you are asking me. 1920x1080

RE: Intel HTPC/NUC's w/reliable Kodi-native 3D MVC Playback - robl45 - 2016-07-27

I tried again using MKV made with out 8 channel or 7.1 if you prefer audio. No white flashes so I'm assuming it has something to do with the audio. Still it doesn't play smooth, its like you can notice a bit of stuttering when its panning across things. Like the opening of john carter that I was watching. I played the same file on MPC-BE with madvr in 3d right after and its stutter free. I'm guessing there are some settings I have to adjust in this?
