Windows at lower resolution than XBMC? - mrdos - 2011-04-25 Is it possible to run Windows at a lower resolution than XBMC? I have trouble doing anything in windows unless I am about 2 feet in front of the screen. - natethomas - 2011-04-25 Have you looked into changing the DPI? - DrMedia - 2011-04-25 You can simply set the screen res in XBMC to whatever you want, and when you run it it will change the res... I have my windows desktop at a lower res, then when XBMC starts up, it changes to 1080p - DJ_Izumi - 2011-04-25 If you're using WIndows 7, you can set it to scale everything up 25 or 50% larger, for use on screens where things appear too small. I think Vista may do this too but I never used Vista. - mrdos - 2011-04-26 Yeah, I already scaled it to 50% larger but my tv is a 34" so I still have to squint like crazy to see from across the room. If XBMC changes the resolution when you open it then that will solve my problem. I'll give it a try. |
