Cant discover nas in atv2 - batista - 2011-05-19
I have a ATV2 + airport extreme + a usb hdd connected too it. I cant connect to the usb drive, I can access it with the my macbook and windows 7 pc but atv2 cant access the files in it. I have read the post that recommend fixing the guess access to read and write but that doesnt work. Please help

do most people just have another computer to stream to the atv2?

I stream from the mac, but did experiment it from the airport extreme. Seemed ok.
1. enable guest access
2. added source as network location, with usename and password, as set up in airport utility.
3. Ensured folder, not just drive had permissions.
