Maybe you'll keep the skin smaller if all extra images will be downloaded on demand? if you continues to add all text images to the skin it will be bigger and bigger and bigger Smile

The images are very small, so that shouldn't be a problem.

For Kodi Krypton, the skin is around 21 MB total.


And I don't know what you mean by downloaded on demand? How and from where?

you could make a resource server with all this images.
this server (ftp source or something) you browse as standard source if you want to chose one of the custom images.
however, just an idea Smile

As of now with all the images added from this thread, the extras folder is only around 3,5 MB.
