Can't copy files using File Manager? - Prizm4 - 2011-05-30

I have read that in really old versions of XBMC, there was an option for copy/move in the context menus for the File Manager.

However in XBMC 10.1, I can't find these options at all. Oddly, there is the "Select All" button, but it's no good without copy/move.

Am I doing something wrong, or are these options missing?

I think you are doing something wrong. I copy/move/delete files daily with XBMC 10.1 file manager. One one side of the screen you navigate to the files you want to move. On the other side you navigate to the destination. Then you bring up the context menu on the chosen files and move/copy.

The file manager context menu will only show "copy" if the destination window is a writable directory.
