HTPC for XBMC and transcoding (Intel SB) - Lezziter - 2011-06-01

I'm in the middle of my latest project, so i thought I would share some of my progress with everyone here.
The goal is to build a slim, silent, low power HTPC with enough juice to decode "everything" through XBMC and transcode for my Plex server (Plex app on Android and iOS devices at home).

Hardware
CPU: Intel Core i3 2100T (35 W)
Motherboard: Asus P8H67-I Deluxe B3
RAM: 2x1 GB (had before)
Storage: 40 GB OCZ Agility 2 (had before)
Case: Antec ISK 300-65 (Black)
Cooler: Scythe Shuriken

Right now I'm running Windows 7, and after some careful undervolting of the CPU I'm peaking at 38 W (!) full load (OCCT Linpack). With 1080p x264 playback I have about 40 % CPU usage, and power draw is 33-34 W. In idle, power draw is about 24 W.

Going away tomorrow over the weekend, but can update with more pictures, performance figures and information next week if anyone is interested.
