Building a skin like Kaleidescape's interface? - jtonthebike - 2011-06-08
Hi All,
Are there any volunteers to get together to build something like this:

I've installed a few of those media servers over the years and find it absolutely wonderful.
I know a *tiny* little about programming, a little more about structure and algorithm's... but I'd be happy to push this further.
We have the wallart library view which looks very similar, so, as i understand it, we'd need to add a blue 'banner' to highlight what the film is and stop fanart loading in the background (mine still does, despite being disabled) and to be a little smoother .. ... but i don't know whether that is a limitation of my little 'ol apple tv.

In the view that was posted , "Multisort.xml ", open the file and replace the .gif images with your own. Start on line 823.

Hi Ontap, I'm not a coder but it should be fairly easy to do that.
What I would like is a single colour selection box or one that strobes between a slightly lighter shade of the original single colour.
I really appreciate your kind help.
