I don't think it is accessible from the UK anymore. I don't know why. It throws 404 errors trying to get a smil from the uk.

Does anyone know if there are differences between the us and uk sites? I don't know if the content is the same or not.

Working in UK for me, though I did experience a few "script error" messages on certain pages.

If some videos do and dont work for you please provide the specific video.

I think I just found a video that isnt hosted by vevo and is actually using youtube. I am looking into calling the excellent youtube plugin to handle the playback.

Is there any way to add a Bookmarks folder in the menu to add shortcuts into?
Also, I noted in the context menu that there is no way to queue videos into a playlist. Is that also possible?

Hi Bluecop. I must said..terrific add-on.. But, I am having crashes on my ATV2 when I play a video.
I am still new on all this and I am learning as I go. Care to tell me what could it be the problem.

vijayk416L: indeed it needs to have a queue there. I use a button on my remote to queue then and didn't notice.

anyone having a problem with playback before then try 0.2.1 version I just committed. It will call the youtube plugin for playback if vevo doesn't host the video. It should help the playback failures. Make sure to have the youtube plugin installed. I didn't add it as a dependance but probably should. It will try to use VEVO source first because it is higher quality.

Thanks for this one BC- was checking out the Michael Jackson videos yesterday and they were Bad (Bad meaning good). Just read the first post where you mention about it supporting XBMC playlists... Does this stretch to smart playlists or are the two different? I never have got my head round the two really.

Question:

I had installed it on a box running pre-eden worked like a champ no problems (Win7 - U.S.)

I installed it in my living room which runs Dharma and my Vevo playlists would not work - would hang and time out.

Can you confirm this works on Dharma/win7/U.S.

Great App cant wait to get it workin in living room!

EDIT:
OK so I got it working!
I decided to see if the plugin worked with another skin, and switched to Confluence; And it worked like a dream out-the-box!
So I switched back to my chosen skin T! Transparency and added the Vevo plugin to the "Music Videos" tab; instead of the "Add-ons" tab where I had it before and it worked!
So if anyone else is having problems getting this plugin to work on the T! Transparency skin, try moving the plugin link from "Add-Ons" to "Videos" or "Music Videos"; This worked for me!

I have this plug in working on darhma xbmc and I can get the individual videos to work but cannot get any of the playlists to work. It says opening stream but it never starts playing and just stays there or even sometimes freezes. I have my account and password entered in setting and even see my own playlists that I made online.

I am not sure about dharma. I believe it worked when I last tested it.

You might try the eden beta and see how that works for you.

It takes a few web requests to build the playlists. It might be that is is just downloading the information and building the playlist. I don't have a dialog for this because it happens nearly instantly on my htpc.

After you attempt to play a playlist could you then open the "Now Playing" list and see if you see a list of videos there?

I have experiences short pause like freezes when starting playlists on occasion. They always started just took a couple seconds for xbmc to start playing it for some reason.
