XBMC and LG media link - bcass1 - 2011-10-13

I have installed XBMC on my mac power PC G4 OSX 10.5.8
and followed the steeps in the instructions and have a folder of movies saved in XBMC. I see all the videos there. But whne I go to my LG LV5500 TV and try to access the files via media link, it says "no media server found"The wiki manual steps do njot look in the program like they do in the manual. The windows are different .

Media link works with Plac loaded on another mac/intel laptop so I think I have the wrong system settings with XBMC.

Can anyone help?

I did read the manual, the FAQ and searched! Ok, so if I can understand your post. XBMC does not work with media link on LG TVs. Can I connect to the XBMC media server any other way?

XBMC isn't a media server. It's a media player. It only has some UPnP support as a "server".
