[MAC] Panasonic Viera Interface - Keepee - 2011-11-04

Hello, we have just installed XBMC for Mac 10.5.8 We have a Panasonic Viera TC-60PS34 connected to our Mac via LAN cable. I cannot seem to find it on the TV screen under Media Servers. We have been using Nullriver Version 2.14 but cannot stream 720p or higher. Hence the search and download of both XBMC and TVMOBiLi to try to "link" our TV to our computer. Any info to direct us in proper direction would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely Keepee

In xbmc, you'll need to enable the UPNP (aka DLNA) server in network settings. it's the "Share video and music libraries through UPnP" option.

XBMC can share files over this interface, but it's not really designed to do this. It won't transcode video to compatible formats, and it won't give you the XBMC user interface. XBMC is designed to run on computers and devices that are directly connected to the TV.
