As someone who leaves their xbmc box online 24/7 does boblight shutdown the lights when the tv is powered off? RE: [RELEASE] Official XBMC boblight Addon - Memphiz - 2014-01-16 You can make it power off when the screensaver kicks in ... so yes RE: [RELEASE] Official XBMC boblight Addon - bry - 2014-01-16 (2014-01-16, 17:44)Memphiz Wrote: You can make it power off when the screensaver kicks in ... so yes excellent - thank you Memphiz RE: [RELEASE] Official XBMC boblight Addon - bry - 2014-01-16 one more thing - is there a key combination that I can create a button for on a harmony remote to toggle this on/off? What os? I use a script to start/stop boblightd in Linux. Works well, only downside is the spam in the xbnc.log when boblightd isn't running, which leads to this question: Anyway to disable the boblight add on logging in xbmc.log? Would be windows based. RE: [RELEASE] Official XBMC boblight Addon - teeedubb - 2014-01-16 Sorry man, my script will be of no use then. Are you leds burning or so? - sorry - but i guess without a photo or something nobody really knows what you mean I'm sorry for my delay. I had so much work to do Here are the photos and the videos showing what I meant: These two are with custom settings: https://www.dropbox.com/sc/9cdlgttaq3mwkql/Cg4exCl_3H These are with "fast" settings: https://www.dropbox.com/sc/nhfz05mab3ullg3/dQd1DVbuT7 and a video: https://www.dropbox.com/sc/q834ri0k77ttxqh/xjvB7LNmYf You can see that there is a white light always on This is my boblight.conf: http://paste.ubuntu.com/6782191/ I'm using an arduino to control the leds. And with that boblight, everything was going perfect in the raspberry pi. So I think my problem is in the boblight xbmc addon. Looks like it's set to zero. Map a key to point/execute this script (modify to match boblight script) http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=116331&pid=1595159#pid1595159 Works perfect here. RE: [RELEASE] Official XBMC boblight Addon - davisdmg - 2014-01-20 I'm using ubuntu server, no windows About thresold. It is set to 20 in the custom settings. I'll try a higher value. Why is having an additional Arduino in the setup useful at all? RE: [RELEASE] Official XBMC boblight Addon - davisdmg - 2014-01-21 (2014-01-21, 14:31)dre81 Wrote: hello guys, Hope this helps to you: I have this leds. http://www.ebay.es/itm/230873716903?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_2298wt_1165 If you are going to buy the leds from this store, send them a email after the buy telling them you come from this blog (grabthiscode and user davisdmg). They will give you 2$ discount and 5$ if you buy two. (Because I lot of people is coming from my blog). And here you have the how-to for the raspberry + ambilight: http://www.grabthiscode.com/diy/how-to-set-up-an-ambilight-system-in-home-and-not-die-trying BTW I tried with belcro and it is not a very good solution. I would recommend pvc cahnnel. |
