.tbn is a holdover from the actual old XBOX days and is going the way of the dodo. Check the wiki on Frodo art naming to ensure you get them right before you spend any time doing it.

I haven't changed any settings or other things. Even after a few re-installs of different EMM versions the problem still exists.

I'm currently using EMM v1.2 revision 2422.

Does anyone has this problem too?

I'm stumped, please help me... Undecided

So we need to set EMM for poster and remove all tbn files? Will this work for Eden as well? I am waiting for PseudoTV addon to be fixed before I upgrade. I will work on that later today.

You don't have to, but you can without destroying anything for Eden. Frodo is backwards compatible when it comes to artwork and Eden handles poster.jpg and fanart.jpg. The main difference, apart from a new naming scheme, is that posters and banners can be used simultaneously. EMM has no direct support for banners (yet).

Its not a huge exercise just download "Flexible Renamer" its free, then just rename your movie.tbn files to poster.jpg it can all be done in a few clicks.

There's an advanced setting that you can use so it looks for poster.jpg in Eden.

Code:
<advancedsettings>
<dvdthumbs>
  <add>poster.jpg</add>
</dvdthumbs>
</advancedsettings>

In any case you can have both and it wouldn't matter, whats the hurry anyway? Frodo is backwards compatible.

RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - Randall Lind - 2013-01-07

I just want to be set when I upgrade and there was talk about backwards compatible being gone in final release.

Hey bro.... I couldn't figure out how to edit the quotes.. but I am only interested in asking....

If EMM does "movie.tbn"... and from what I am reading, FRODO does "poster.jpg"... woudlnt renaming all the "movie.tbn" mess up the EMM movie collection?

RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - Miss_80 - 2013-01-07

Hi. I have recently upgraded to the lastest version (was still working with 1.2.4 or something like that). I installed the fix file as I got an error on the original 1.3.7 zip (winrar error). That worked perfectly. The system recognized that I either was a first time user or that I upgraded. However, after copy-ing the xml en emm files (as I read in a different post, so that my movies didn't have to be rescraped again) I noticed that ember recognized the movies, recognized all the artwork and also checked the boxes for nfo's but no data was filled in the fields for plotline, etc.
As far as I can tell, the NFOs are not loaded into the database, so I did something wrong during the upgrade. Can anyone tell me what I overlooked? Off course I can rescrape all the movies, however the plots were manually copied in dutch (for my boyfriends sake) and it would be a hell of a job, to do that again :-)

I think you can't use the old xml and emm (DB) files. Make a new and proper install and set all options like the old settings. A rescrape of existing movies isn't needed, Ember read all information from the exist nfos on the first time.

If you look at my previous posts your see I said Ember supports "poster.jpg" for movies, so all you do is select that in settings instead of "movie.tbn", your probably have to do Tools > Reload all movies so it picks up the poster.jpg, from then on ember will create your poster.jpg.

Seems a bit odd to change when Ember doesn't support all the new TV images unless you don't have TV

RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - clubwerks - 2013-01-08

Is anybody planning on fixing the update XBMC feature? I know that the switch from Eden to Frodo broke this feature on just about every piece of software.

I am lost with TV I have banners from fanart.tv so I don't see what's the big deal about banners are. I must be missing something. The way I see it is I can have at least my movies set up and I can redo TV once someone adds banner support to EMM.
