You use the latest version of Ember? Check my signature or use the ftp in last post.

Sounds like someone has installed pixelserv "http://proxytunnel.sourceforge.net/pixelserv.php" anti-ad server at your router/isp and added the art server to the ban list. Go to a site that you know is an adserver (http://dclk.haaretz.co.il/ is blocked by mine so give it a shot) and if you get a screen with one pixel in the middle of it this is what is happening

Dan, could you add the ability to pull clearart and logos from fanart.tv? right now i have to do this manually for every tv show. It makes the skins look a lot better in xbmc

RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - DigitalAnvil - 2013-02-01

I am having a strange issue that I can't seem to figure out. Whenever I add new content and run EMM, it will for some files create a screengrab and for others it won't (which I manually have to do). I recently upgraded in the last week or so to the latest version and thats when it started to occur.

Previously (an older version that was installed back in Oct 2012) was creating a screengrab for all tv series when they were scanned into EMM
?

Hi Dan,

I was wondering if I could ask you something or anyone here that may know. To make things more clean I went and deleted all my old images files since I recently updated to Frodo as I wanted a fresh start using your Ember with the new Frodo preset. Well the only thing I never deleted from my movie folders were the NFO files. Well I eventually got this done and got everything updated.

I went and deleted all my sources in XBMC, cleaned the library and went to re add all my sources and when I add the movies it scans my library just find, but it's not adding any of the fanart or covers I chose when doing Ember. All the images and fanart are correct for the movie when scanned into XBMC, but they are not the ones I chose in Ember. Now if I select a single movie, click movie information and click refresh and load local information it switches to the correct one.

Do I need to delete all my old NFO files and start from scratch or something. I've tried a few different times. I tried one of the options mentioned here in a previous post and that didn't work either. When I set the content I'm choosing the IMDB option and scan movies in folder option, but when it scans it's choosing it's own cover and fanart for the movie which are correct, but not the ones I chose in Ember?

Any thoughts...

Also I was wondering if the Scrape media button for tv shows doesn't work or something as it's grayed out and doesn't let me click on anything. Thanks

Josh

@Dan

could you think about the possibility to include a SET (like Alien Quadrology or Star Wars Trilogy) box into the edit fields of a movie...
it's very tedious wait for all the movies to load and then manage for settings of SET.

sorry my english!.

thx

I am on a home network without any 'evil' admin that would install that and as of myself I am not sure how to install that or even what does it do. Plus isn't it only for gif files while I have difficulties with jpegs? As per your request I was able to go to a site http://dclk.haaretz.co.il/ and it is not blocked for me, link below is what I see:

Any more ideas?

Hello DanCooper! Thank you for trying to help me, I can not believe that my count is 13 posts so far and I haven't even scratched the surface Sad

I was using Ember Media Manager 1.2 Revision 2422. I DLed the latest version from your signature and this is what I got as an example for TV show - Arrow (2012).

http://postimage.org/image/pmfv8w5m1/

http://postimage.org/image/cku6j1h7t/

As you can see, they do come in different size (1x1 or 1920x 1080) but they are all blank... What could be wrong? Any ideas? (I made pics of different kinds of art )

I keep getting this message when I save after I scraped a movie. Also EMM crashes often. I'm able to scrape my movies but i'm curious to know if its EMM that is causing this or my computer set up

You need to run Artwork Downloader from within XBMC. Go into the add-on settings for it and choose "use local files" if you want it to pull images you've already downloaded.
