Kudos on still being alive, we appreciate it greatly Nod

Are there any changes between Dharma and Eden nfo files? I used Ember to create my nfo files but I am not getting all of my studio logos and when I change posters sometimes it doesn't work.

TRaSH- Wrote:i'm trying to switch over from MC7+MB7 to XBMC,

most of my movies are stored in blu-ray folder structure.

it seems that Ember saves the info in BDMV/STREAMS and it should save be placed in the BDMV folder.

I had exactly same problem. Ember scrape and put all metas, fanart and poster inside BDMV/STREAMS and no BDMV any help Huh??

Genre Scrapping - boccman - 2012-01-17

I am having problems with the Genres not being scrapped into my movies. I only started noticing this problem in the past week or so. I read another thread about XBMC IMDB scrapper being updated because of the same issue.

Does anyone know of a fix that i can use for EMM??

Thanks in advance.

ZestyChicken Wrote:Love the program. I have a few ideas for some enhancements:
- allow refreshing of the XBMC thumbnails for TV and movies. Would make making changes to existing scraped media a breeze. Would be awesome for those of us who use centralized thumbnail folders.
- allow downloading of TV logos, clearart, banners and posters from http://fanart.tv/ to support some of the newer XBMC skins.
- a really cool option would be bulk replacing of TV "folder.jpg" from the banner.jpg files to the poster.jpg files (and vice versa).

+1 for each

Is there a way to use Ember to rename files on another PC?
I added the path and scraped everything but when I get a error message.

Do you have write permissions on the shared folder?

I'm able to change files on my NAS, via a SMB (Windows) share. I map my shared folders to drive letters, perhaps you need to do that.

just getting started with all this, EMM is brilliant,

when i load up xbmc on xbox the thumbnails are still displayed as folders, but fanart is in background. if i check the movie info manually the dvd cover comes up.

what have i got wrong?

thanks

Yea I was able to transfer the files and create all the data (.nfo, poster...)
Only renaming throws an error.

Thank you!! I will have to give this a go. EMM is by far the best scraper I have used. I have been without it for some time now Sad

Thanks for taking this project on, bodrick. I've tried several different media managers, and Ember has always been my favorite. I'm glad someone has revived it.
