Help required setting up - tingle - 2011-12-19
Hi there,
I am struggling to get things set up correctly.
I have the boxes ticked in xbmc settings. When I go to http://host:8080/ I get the appropriate listings and it all appears pretty much instantly.
When I go to http://192.168.1.40:8080/jsonrpc I get
JSONRPC active and working
When I go to http://192.168.1.40:8080/xbmcCmds/xbmcHttp?command=GetSystemInfo(120;121) I get

However, when I open the remote most of the time it just sits there on the connecting screen and does nothing. Occasionally it does eventually connect. When it does and I go to the library it again takes ages to load.
When it does work the remote works but the library doesn't.
I tried changing the http port to no avail and I don't have a password set. I disabled the firewall with sudo ufw disable
I am using mythbuntu as the backers.

did you open these urls from your desktop browser or the phone's browser?
