@RXP91 : Not really for memory usage it's already quite hard to have the current perf and near no memory problems on even old and bad phones.

@EniGmA1981 : Well you can still buy it tissues Smile

That's my home screen... see what I mean about the empty space in the middle? That would look awesome with a widget that showed a note playing window, but didn't show anything when it wasn't in use Smile

Think about it, I can't be the only one that would go for this!

Well you can open an feature request at http://yatse.leetzone.org/redmine/projects/androidwidget/issues Smile and see if others +1 Smile

But it's already very hard to get known that I need to adds things for the masses before such ultra specific things :p

Right, but my problem was I had XBMC installed in windows and had set up the remote a couple months ago, and last week I switched to Linux on my media center box, so, in Yatse, the connection was already set up. I opened the remote and it worked, but none of the extra features you guys were talking about were there.

Must have been what I was doing.

Now that I edited the connection so that it's on the port my Linux XBMC install is using, it's working.

Sorry for being a twit, it was my fault all along.

<3 Yatse.

Just installed the Yatse app and Frodo RC3. I am having problems starting zeroconf. It says it failed to load. I did do a search but didnt come up with anything. Is there some trick to getting zeroconf to load?

If you're on Windows then you need the Bonjour software. It's Mac related so I refused to install and just set the connection up manually so that's as far as I can help.

I installed the Bonjour software. Laziness beat me out on my principles!

New version is great love icon/notification, any chance to have Yatse always turned on? And to add "Do yo want to Exit?" so I wont accidentally exit.
If you are not sure what I'm talking about, see Xaber (IM application).

RE: Yatse - Full featured Xbmc Remote and Widgets for Android & Eden/Frodo - Tolriq - 2013-01-16

If you activate Widgets or Notification Yatse is always on.

I'm not sure what you may want more Smile

RE: Yatse - Full featured Xbmc Remote and Widgets for Android & Eden/Frodo - ynksbsbll2 - 2013-01-17

Just an idea for updating libraries in Yatse. Perhaps there could be an option to schedule daily (or whatever frequency) library syncs at a specific user-defined time. It's not a huge deal to manually update the libraries, but I always welcome automation.

RE: Yatse - Full featured Xbmc Remote and Widgets for Android & Eden/Frodo - Tolriq - 2013-01-17

This is planned but this needs a new permission to keep wake locks from the service.

But changing permissions does require a manual update for users so I need to finish to play with some other things I want in the future to see if I need other permissions to add all in one time and not bother the users too much.

Re: Yatse - Full featured Xbmc Remote and Widgets for Android & Eden/Frodo - zbuzanic - 2013-01-17

ok, is it possible to leave library cache active until we perform manual refresh? so when i close and open again it will not load from xbmc but use cached library.

RE: Yatse - Full featured Xbmc Remote and Widgets for Android & Eden/Frodo - Tolriq - 2013-01-17

The app never load from Xbmc until you refresh Smile
