Not scraping thumbnails - jsvannorman - 2012-01-03
I just reinstalled XBMC on my Apple TV2 after updating to the newest SeasonPass jailbreak / IOS. I backed up my XBMC settings before doing so and then reinstalled them afterwards. In fact, I backed up and restored the entire XBMC folder under Library/Preferences to be on the safeside. But even doing so, I lost my library. No biggie, I just rescanned.
But for some reason when it scans now it won't give me thumbnails for those old items. I get user art, episode or movie information, etc. - everything but the thumbnail. I can go into each movie or t.v. show individually and manually select a thumbnail, which works just fine. But that's a pain. Funny thing is that I don't have this problem with anything new I've added since reinstalling XBMC - it is just an issue with those movies and shows that I had before the XBMC reinstall.
Any suggestions?

I'm guessing corrupted video DB. Can you get us your xbmc.log file? http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=HOW-TO:Find_and_post_XBMC.log_for_iOS

Your permissions are messed up. Read the wiki faq for ios/atv2 and fix the permissions with the chown command.
