scrape evrything from one folder - orenmi - 2012-03-29

this is a very basic option that works perfectly well in boxee.
i used to have all TV episodes and movies in one folder and everything was displayed in the correct way.
why do we have to choose only one content that is in this folder?

also, an important option is to manually change the selected show/movie info through search.

how would it detect what was TV Show, and what was Movie?

How boxee is doing it?
i dont think its that hard. if the names are not repeating.

also, do i have to manualy update the source every time i add something new, or there is something i need to enable to do that auto?

And that's exactly the point. If the names are correct. If they aren't you will go bitching at XBMC why the hell it scrapes a tvshow as a movie or vice versa.

You have auto update on startup or a library auto update add-on in repo

you can even do what I do and map a key to update (mine is Ctrl+U for Video, Ctrl+Y for Music)

boxee is doing it perfectly well without any intervention from my side.
i used to have everything in one folder and it displayed it perfectly.

Then go back to using Boxee and stop whining here. You've been given reasonable explanations as to why it's not going to happen, and how to accomplish the other things you've mentioned.

i suggest you grow up a bit and then start answering people.

There really is no need for that.

You have been told its not supported and doesn't work that way - sorry if you don't like it but thats how it is. XBMC is not boxee and likewise boxes is not XBMC. Equally i've seen just as many issues with scanning with boxee.
