RE: Antec ISK 300-65 HTPC A6-3500 Very Quiet! - eskro - 2012-04-21

actually, that HT80 case looks pretty much exactly like the WESENA case...

meaning, my friend Balinus thinks the Big Shuriken 58mm wont fit since

there's a drive tray in the way...

now, seeing beer40's htpc, we now we can cur through drive trays Tongue

but again, no one has tried i beleive since we havent heard of it.

doesnt mean it doesnt work.

and, doesnt mean it works too.

i say be a ginea pig Smile

All I need now is a 40oz just in case I get too frustrated, but Beer will drop by and supply me with that!! I'll keep you guys posted!!Wink

Cpthook....heh welcome to the A6/A8-ISK300 fanclub.... love the case so far definitely a lot more room inside than the ISK100 and an external brick...yeah baby.

I hope that you have the tools below to modify the case to fit the aftermarket CPU cooler.....

You could have got this "Scythe SCKZT-1000 80mm Kozuti CPU Cooler", and it'll fit without cutting....

RE: Antec ISK 300-65 HTPC A6-3500 Very Quiet! The Messiah - waver123 - 2012-04-21

wow this SCKZT is nice...40mm this would probably even fit in an ISK100 case.

I would not get that..... at all 80MM... the smaller it is .... the louder because it will go up in RPM.... the bigger it tends to work harder therefor less RPM

As we all know now.... if you don't want to cut your case this one fits perfect......

Scythe SCSK-1100 100mm Shuriken Rev. B

My hommie WAVER123 proved us it fits.....

My brother officially called this " The Messiah"

Yes, Scythe SCSK-1100 should be a good one too. As far as noise, 1000, 1100 and 2100 has almost identical dBA. It should be the same noise level......I like the cleaner looks of the 1000 than the models with the fan on the top!
