RE: Media Companion 3 beta's - Now with Music Video support - Edworld - 2016-07-24

vbat99,

I experimented by downloading actors in each folder that contains a movie and still didn't work, the only setting I unselected in KODI system\video\library\download actors thumbnails since it downloads from online databases

If I select to download actors it does pull actors from centralized folder

Thanks

Right. Yes that setting in Kodi must be enabled.

Kodi will download from the path of thumbnail in the nfo. It won't in online unless you have tmdb as the content provider.

I have Local information only as provider.

Glad you got it sorted.

I decided to refresh all my movies, and the NFO file got copied to all 16 movies.

IMDb scraper by chance? If so, Delete all those nfo's, enable XBMC TMDb scraper and try again.

Easy way to delete all of those is
Click first one, hold Shift and click last.
Right-click and select [b]Delete movie(s) Nfo and Artwork.
Then do a new search.

Yes IMDB

The not so funny thing, is that I don't even have that movie in my testing

Seems some issue with IMDb not detecting the movie, so it's giving back a not found page. MC, finds the first IMDb ID as it thinks this is for the current movie, and carries on scraping.
I've seen this before, and it is not a problem with your movie titles, but MC and IMDb glitching with each other.

Can you give me a couple of the movie titles please. I'll look into what is happening.

Are these the same as the filenames? What I meant is, and should have asked for, the true filename for these movies. That way I can rule out MC not getting the correct information from the filename.
Thanks for the quick reply.

Darn. All of those scraped fine with IMDb scraper.

Is it possible to upload your config.xml file and PM me a link to it.

I'll try again a bit later with these samples.
Cheers

This option is in the next release.
