There are both DropBox and Google Drive add-ons out there. Lifehacker also has a how-to article about setting it up.

None of those offer limitless storage for private persons though right?

I don't believe a limitless solution exists that would be in "the cloud" and have those benefits. The value here is being in "the could" and using services with a nice big content delivery network, rather than using one's home connection. Even a home connection will have limits in speed and how much drive space you have. Some of the prices now on DropBox and Google Drive are sometimes cheaper than what it would cost for someone to set up their own server hosted somewhere other than their home (which likely has a low upstream speed).

I hear HP might be working on something, though:

You can't run a torrent client on dropbox or Google drive.

Still working on apache2/https server streaming which I knowis possible to do. I just can't figure out why Kodi doesn't want to connect while my browser has no issues.

Directly on it? No.. but obviously whatever normally runs your torrent client can save directly to Dropbox or Google Drive (or copy over once the transfer is complete).

I do this.

I use http://put.io

..and xbmc just plays whatever I have there

XBMC can play many different kinds of streams. I think it is possible streaming XBMC from cloud. I am using cloud storage service but didn't tried streaming. I will check it.
