Not quite with you, you always have to cursor up to see the 10 covers, only the menu showing the names is displayed all the time at least here that is how it works, do you mean the whole top menu is hidden until you cursor up? In which case go to the "Furniture" option in the bottom menu, highlight the relevant top menu, hit enter to change it from Auto hide to always visible.
Ah ok, I think I know what you may mean, if your question is not really about the top bar...? the way to get around this is to not to add a playlist as the My Menu Item, just add it to another space on the Main Menu as I do not think Marcos implemented the My Menu Main Menu Item to have focus. I will try to have a look later tonight to see if I can find where this may be but not sure if it is possible with a simple change.

Hi,
At the Moment I can See in the topbar "vplaylist". If I press in the Main Menü "ok" it jumps to vplaylist. Now i can press ok for all Movies or I can See the 10 Movies.
If I use the real movie menu I can see ist directly.
The Top menu is always visible...
You know what I mean or should I add a Screenshot?

Ok, I think it was my second point.
To get around this do not use My Menu, assign the playlist to a spare (Not My Menu) space on the Main Menu.

If you really want this it would be simple to edit the language files for your selected language such as English (US).
Just open the two language files, strings.po and strings.xml in a text editor that understands unicode (such as notepad) and make the following changes:
strings.po

msgid "SHUTDOWN"
msgstr "EXIT XBMC"strings.xml
Code:
<string id="31012">EXIT XBMC</string>save and away you go. Just make sure if you are actually using English (US) or English (they are different).

Playback of what? All movies TV Shows? or just trailers? There is an option to playback Trailers in Full screen which needs to be enabled. (Cursor up in a Movie View to show top menu, select Media Info and enable "SHow Trailer in Fullscreen")

Sorry, playback of movies - only video I have tried so far. So I did some more fiddling and the picture seems to go to normal after I alt+tab to desktop then go back to XBMC. Also, screenshots show a 'fullscreen' picture so I don't think that would help. It does this whenever I open a new movie, so it's not like it just does it for the first movie I start through XBMC. I thought it may be attributable to ReClock being installed, since it's been doing that same thing to me when I use MPC-HC, but I checked and it isn't running in the background when I have XBMC running and anyways I uninstalled it for safe measure.

Sounds like something has borked somewhere, are there any settings under your video card drivers? Any overscan/underscan settings. Does your screen change resolution when starting a movie? Also make sure all settings are ok under XBMC for Video (Settings\Video\Playback) turn everythign off apart from Allow Hardware Accel...., try changing it from full screen to full screen windowed (Settings\System\Video Output), see if that helps. Have a general play with those settings to see if anythign solves the issue. But if it also does it with MPC-HC I assume it is more likely connected to your video card drivers or somehtign that Re-Clock has screwed on your system.

Ok, one more thing go to Customizations, add a favourite and when the blank page comes up leave it for a few minutes. I have seen on my system that somethimes it can take a few seconds to populate it but I run on pretty high hardware so it may take a little longer on yours......

For slideshow artist, you just have to set
- to download 16:9 images
- to download from htbackdrops and last.fm
and under "slideshow" image priority , you set use remote images first
under "advanced", notification, you set use text notifications
thats it
It auto downloads stuff as soon as you enter a song and hit download artist info
Not sure where the downloaded images go.. have to look for that too
