THIS IS FRUSTRATING. CAN SOMEONE BOTHER TO HELP:
Need desperate help.
I am unable to see the artist fanart as a background slideshow in the "Music" home screen for the song that is currently playing.
The add-on downloads the artist image and rotates in the square box on left . The add-on says completed downloading artist images.
However, I am unable to see the artist fanart as a background picture in the "Music" home screen. Please help.

@shivanair, you need artist image fanart.jpg in root artist folder, and others artist images, just need to be in "extrafanart" folder. file naming in this case doesn´t matter.
How rotate image artists home, look in video where setting root music folder, for activate extrafanarts.

I saw you have an override folder. This folder does only xml files, or can t be used to replace remote images ?

override is used for artist slideshow addon, in my case only for xml file. I set addon for use local and remote images, but I believe it´s fine for images too, read this post about,

Still no Fanart for Shows. I installesd Win8 and still the same problem, I dont know if it works for movies since I didnt add them yet.
Also on Home with music playing it says similar artist where the bio is.
And when playing music in fullscreen and the progressbar is white/light gray you cant see the time (also white).

@TeKo, need fanart.jpg in folder for this, I have win8 and work fine. On home when playing áudio we have 2 info (similar artists + bio), it´s work fine here too.
About progress bar I need check.

I have the files but sonehow they do not show. Shows and Music. But when I play music I see the fanart as background. Iam using smb shares btw.

I checked, no fanart for anything. Not with smb or local. When I select get fanart I can select the local art, so the files are there but the dont work with the views. Logos and clearart are working.
Edit: looks like its a xbmc problem trying version from today now.
EDIT2: nvm it is a problem with MQ. When I start xbmc I can go to music and see fanart but after I opened Shows I cant see fanart for music, tv and movies.
I can replicate that bug 100%, nobody else with the same problem? Btw same thing with normal and SC.

Does the fanart HAVE to be stored locally in "extrafanart" folder for artist slideshow add-on to display it properly - or can it be set to auto download the available fanart from internet and display, seemlessly, without me knowing and without saving jpegs next to my mp3's in "extrafanart" folder?
Any suggestions?
