Same on Windows btw, going into the settings menu causes the fanart to dissapear, or activating Wallview. This was on 2.1, i`ll try 1.8 to see if it goes away.

I don't seem to be having the settings issue, so hopefully that's gone on 1.8.

Yes, the settings part is gone in 1.8, just tested on my Windows machine seconds ago, going into settings doesn`t disable the fanart. However, Wallview still does
. Disabling Wallview and restarting XBMC seems to cure it.

Try going into one of the sub menus on the settings and see what it does. I just went in to change some addons, and when I came out the fanart was gone. Not a massive issue, but it would be good to see if its just an issue on mine or not.

Yup, fanart is gone again, lol. If you enter settings and select any option, everything is fine. However if you use the sub menu option (or shall i say, up-menu, since they pop-out above the settings option), fanart goes away again..

I'm not having issues with fanart, I am having issues with Posters for TV series though. The "Prefer Posters" setting is enabled in the scraper, but MQ4 displays nothing. With "Use poster.jpg" setting enabled, the series that already have poster.jpg files will show, but no others. GUI mode for artwork downloader will only work for 4 series before it quits with MQ4, and it starts at the first show each time. It doesn't work when inside a show as I would expect it to (downloading only art for that show), it still attempts to download art for the whole library. Automatic mode downloads nothing posters-wise for TV series, even if selected show doesn't already have a poster.jpg file in it's folder. Also, clicking "Show Information -> Get Thumb" (with use poster.jpg disabled) shows only "Current Thumb", "No Thumb" and "Browse". It's not attempting to show a list of online thumbs / covers for that series.

I miss the live tv settings menu in the setting section. In confluence I can find them.

I also still get issues with Fanart after I was able to test last night also noticed that when accessing the TV Guide this also caused the fanart to disappear, will try 1.8 later tonight its ok if your not in and out of menus after a restart of XBMC.
If i still get errors too I will try a fresh install to see if its a problem with the upgrade process / an old addon

I still get the fanart issue when using 1.8 on a fresh install of Frodo RC2 confluence ran fine with default fanart, the issue must be to do with the aeonmq4 skin / a skin related plugin and RC2.
This was ran on a seperate PC -
Frodo install
Added Videos on NAS
installed traktr to sync watched status
Checked with confluence - All ok.
installed aeon mq 4 2.1.0 - checked and fanart issue was present
rolledback to 1.8.0 - checked and fanart issue was present

Hi Guys,
In MQ Repo, MQ4, and MQ4 Skinner Cut are still showing up as BROKEN for me.
I've tried a force refresh -- I'm running Eden -- but they still show up as BROKEN.
It sounds like others have gotten them working again.
Any help would be much appreciated!

I think the developers are taking time to fix the bugs with Aeon MQ 4 and Frodo RC 2. Previously there were issues installing MQ 4 on RC 2. Just my theory though. I'd love some clarification on the subject.

Anyone who is having issues with default fanart on Frodo RC's should instal 1.8, and deactivate the wall view. This should rectify the problem, however there are some bugs that disable it again (entering the settings sub Menus is one) but rebooting XBMC will resolve this again.

This is probably because they have been updated to work with Frodo, although that is just an educated guess.
