I am going crazy trying to do this with a remote that does not send an "S" keypress.
Is that the only way?

-since movie sets development has stopped, how do i arrange my movie sets?
-banner for tvseries still is stretched how do i fix this?
- is lrc lyrics (merged one, latest version) supported, cause it doesnt work here but does with nox4.0
-from moviewall mibrary view going back to main menu is taking long time, can you speed this up?

firstly hi and thanks for the great work marcos and team ,and secondly would it be possible to add a new view to mq4 or the new skin ace , like the rightlist view in cirrus extended v2 or would that be seen as ripping off someone else`s work ?

There seems to be one bug with 2.2:
When going in Movies; all OK
But when I go in TVs (banner view), and browse a bit (all OK so far) then I go back in Movies, backgrounds for movies aren't showing; it's stuck to last TV background viewed... Only way to fix is to exit XBMC and come back in...
I tried deleting texture database without success...
Still there this bug in 2.3...
Am I the only one with this issue?

first of all, you made a really good & nice looking skin.
Possible Bug:
After updating the skin from version 1.7.0 to 2.3.0 I can´t change the view mode in all sections (e.g. files, video, movies, etc..) anymore. Although I enabled all possible view modes the files are shown in "list"-mode only.

Same here. Activating all available views only "Panels" can be used... no coverflow, showcase, poster, whatever.

If I put a shortcut menu in the bottom menu, solve for you? Or even in the context menu (as in Ace)

2. It's a good question. I'll also need to know something about it to include in Ace.
3. ok, I'll.
4. Works fine in Ace. I'll get from there and adapt to Aeon.
5. For it has only two alternatives. Use the SC version, or migrate to Ace.

Show me please. I can ask for permission for use to my friend butchabay and include in Ace. But not promise.

Unfortunately I think so.
Answering other questions:
The Aeon MQ 4 version 2.3.0 no longer uses AllinOne, everything is given by Skin Widget script.
To install from zip, go to addons and choose install by zip file.
This version works ONLY in XBMC Frodo. RC3 recommended.

wow, many thanks for the quick responce and for even considering this view.
i also have my tv shows and music library set like that to be able to see the most of the fanart , could you maybe set it so that it gives you the movie, tv show or music info at the bottom (under genre but above year and duration), or maybe get rid of that blank area and click right once to get the movie, tv show or music info to show, thanks again

Hi,
is there anybody outside who run still Eden and MQ4 1.7.0 like me?
Because I was not satisfied with the functionality of the AllinOne script and claymic did'nt give any response on mails I decided to do a rewrite. For me it was a learning session programming with python and the interaction with XBMC. As it works quite well here I decided to ask if there are interesting people to use this version. This version only works with Eden. The Frodo version of MQ4 uses Skin.Widges. After talking to Marcos he has no problem with that and I can publish a version of MQ4 which works with my version of AllinOne.
Key features:
- runs as a service
- actions are triggered with window properties within the script and from the skin
- complete data is loaded at startup und a reload is only necessary after a videoscan or musicscan (speedup)
- changes in the settings are recognized and the items are regenerated
- all random items are regenerated by entering the homescreen or when the user focus random in the top menu
- added new in progress and the widget for concerts
- in recently added albums are always 10 albums displayed because I get the last 10 added albums instead of getting the last 200 songs and look there for the albums
- added more setting options
- added threading for the main collecting tasks (speed gain collecting data on an AMD A8-3850: 5s, on an Atom D525: 15s with my databases). More tests needed to get the best solution.
To get this working I had to change Home.xml, includes.xml and IncludesMainMenu.xml and I add a string id="31979" to the skin in english and german translation.

To install download the files and goto settings->addons->install from zip.
Note: I don't know why, but after installing service.allinone_v2_0.8.0.zip the script doesn't start. In the logfile is an error message which tell me that default.py was not found. But it's there. To solve this disable and enable the script under "enabled add-ons->services->allinonev2".

I've installed the new version and so far works without any problems. Install done over Frodo RC3 with a fresh DB (not migrated from Eden) and fanart according to new Frodo specs (poster.jpg/...). Installation worked OK (missing add-ons were automatically installed) and list-view works great (I don't have banners to test Banner-view). No problem with fanart, and integration with other add-ons (like subtitles) seem to work OK. Trailers are also working fine.
Thanks a lot for your help so far. I'll keep waiting for the poster-based views
