I was playing again with MQ4 but keep getting stuck in certain things.
The biggest things is that i can't remove a favorite from main MY MENU
And second that i can't exit submenu edit unless i disable menu entry
And was wondering if it is possible to have random background working for movies and series the same as in MQ3 (not yet tested myself)
Overall i still have the feeling i have more customization options in MQ3 then in MQ4, can't help it. Love the look of MQ4 but chancing things to my needs was batter in MQ3 or at least more easy.

The only way is to name your movies correctly. It cannot go on the container type ".mkv" as you can encode any source as mkv so you could have TV Rips coming up as BluRay's.

@shumi2004, remove one favorite is very easy, go to customize, my menu, up arrow, favorite item - press enter (appears option delete).
About exit submenu, when in edit mode, is more easy, left arrow done.
About random background fanarts, it´s work very well, my tip, watch tutorial movies, there are answers for you.
MQ4 is much more easy to configure and more powerfull too, I think you need use a little.

@TeKo, about bluray labels, to mark a disc stub as BluRay add the words "bluray" or "bdrip" to the file name. For HDDVD add "hddvd". For DVD add "dvd". For TV add "pdtv", "hdtv", or "dsr". For VHS add "vhs".

Thanks for explaining and pointing me into a few directions but about the favorites i'm talking about the favorite behind the MY MENU button, i think you are talking about the submenu buttons but that's not the issue it's the main button.

I name my movies e.g. Tron Legacy (2010) - Bluray or -DVD & the casing then shows the right one. As long as the word bluray, dvd, web etc is in your filename the casings will display correct. When editing casings you can see what word needs to be in the filename/folder in order to display the correct casing.

I've noticed a small problem with the notification icons.
I use the Constellation iPhone App to control XBMC and in MQ3 I would get the following notification:
In MQ4 however it looks like this:
Oddly I found that if I enable the option for voxcommando popups in MQ4 I get this:
As a test I tried passing a manual notification message to XBMC using:

As AnthonyC states....
As long as you BluRay or DVD in the name it will work. The others are "web" for WEBTV, "PDTV" for TV Rips, "HDTV" for HDTV cases.
I name everything like this;
Movie Name (1994) (BluRay) (1080p).mkv
Just my way of doing things but by adding the resolution "1080p", "720p" etc... this also assigns the correc flag as over the years I found that XBMC did not always pick up the correct one if the resolution was a non standard one or the container was a little different. Am sure all works these days but just stuck to it as it also makes finding movies outsde of XBMC a breeze.

This submenus are fixed, can not be removed or customized. It is well to avoid navigational error in some cases.

My menu is a container, if add favourites -> go to top menu or submenu (only 2 options).
You can normally add favourites to main menu as a new item, in this case select the destination from the list of options: MAIN MENU.

Watching a movie as I type this and every couple of minutes the info menu pops up for a few seconds and the disappears. Has done this through half the movie now. Any ideas as to why this is happening? Anyone having/had this problem.

Its probably your movie buffering...
When it buffers it pauses (bringing up the info screen)
So if you are having quick buffers the info screen is popping up for a small amount of time.
