There are several improvements in AllInOne now, i will release a new version soon.
BIG THANKS FOR CHIPPIE, MARCOS AND WANILTON, for all tests and suggestions.
The AllInOne its almost done, but now i have to make a big decision about the performance.
I will release a new version for test, but we have to adapt the script for new frodo first.
The AllInOne will have two versions, one for Eden and Frodo (until Alpha 3) and another for the new Frodo.
I think its a lot of better script now. Of course, there are limitations, there is no way to make progress show instantly for exemplo, will depend of how large you collection are.
To change the random items (click over the button in the top menu) you have to wait the script run first, here with 2k musics, 5k episodes and 700 movies, take almost 15 seconds. This is a improvement, with the RC1, using RandomItem, i get 25 seconds to charge the random and after that i get more 35 seconds (almost) to charge the progress items. Now i i get 15 seconds to charge everything (recents, random and progress), its not fast but its better.
For random movies, concerts an music its very fast after you click, but change episodes will have a delay of 4 or 5 seconds, maybe less. But this is necessary to make the allinone more fast, i cant explain this here, my english its not so good.
For the guys who not want to wait, i can send the new version for test, send me a messsage. ONLY FOR EDEN OR ALPHA 3.

AllInOne - new version for test.
If you are using the new frodo you have to uninstall the old version first.
Its not in the repo, you have to install from .zip.
Big thanks a Wanilton to make the adaptation for the new frodo, help me a lot.
Configure the script before use, there is some nice settings.

I use this fabulous skin and your script is very nice.
I have an issue since the beginning of allinone script.
It always appears Script Failed : allinone script when I enter in a section (movies, tv shows...) and go back.
I used XBMC Eden + Aeon MQ4 RC2 and your latest version script 0.2.1 (but I had the same issue with the previous) on Mac OS ML.
I added music, concerts, movies and tv shows on my collection.
I already try to uninstall and reinstall the script and restart from fresh install.
Here is my log file and a screenshot of the error if it can help.

I will see your log, but i think its a problem with your songs name when the script try to write a internal log, try to disable songs and album (progress, random and recents). Use the allinone settings. I will remove the log in the script, maybe this solve your problem.

AllinOne script!
Guys just a few points whilst testing the script!
1. The script has obviosuly been revised an you no longer need any Music in your library to prevent lockups.
2. The timings claymic refers to are just for Random and In Progress Items to be populated (Recent Items are populated pretty much instantly), and only when you load/start XBMC once the lists are charged, refreshing Random Items is pretty instant so give the script a chance to finish running once you start XBMC. From experience most people sleep their system or have XBMC running all the time so you shoud not experience this delay very often.
As and example comapred to claymics timings I have 20,000 episodes and 9,000 movies and it takes about 45 seconds to a minute after starting XBMC for the script to finish running completely, however this is so I can change my random Items by hitting "Enter" on the "Random" title in the top bar, the actual lists are populated slightly quicker. But is will vary with the size of your collection and the hardware you are running on.
Another example is that my Random Episodes refresh instantly yet for Claymic it takes 4 to 5 seconds, agian showing how the hardware and library size combinations make a difference.
3. Give the Add-On Config a run through and disable/enable certain options to see if it improves your perfomance. I did not notice any change but then I run on high end hardware with a relatively large library.I feel everyone will experience different results here, all of which will be more than acceptable for the benefit and results you get from the script.

When the script call a json query for songs your python fail, if was a bug in the AllInOne i think all of us wil have this problem. For now i cant help you, sorry, i revised the script and everything its fine there, let me see if anyone will have this problem too.

Hide watched or hide not at recently added works as it should be. With hide watched activated it take round about 10 secs to update the list when I'm back at the main menu (movie set to watched and go directly back to the main menu, 365 movies atm). As supposed movie infos and covers works with the original movie item only and not with playlists. The recently added works with playlists but the option hide watched yes/no doesn't work. Here hide watched is permanently activated.
some suggestions (which are mostly on your list already I suppose):
- add the hide watched option to episodes/concerts (recents)
- add progress for concerts
- do it make sense to hide the progress bar for movies also to gain some speed?
- for me the music progress don't work (how should this work?)
- make it possible to start playing an album from the top menu (for marcos i think)
- add Cover and infos for playlists
- add hide watched option for playlists
- beginning with this version of AllInOne the recents can be activated separatly. The skin should recognise this and hide the items which are getting their infos from AllInOne

Work great, on the latest Frodo, yes have tried the setting, I have no music so have turned that part off only and only a few TV shows.
My movie collection is only 400 and the recent and random populate straight away, well I didn't see it
so it must have been quick.No issues so far

I disable all options for music in allinone settings as you recommended and I don't have the error script now.
It seems like as you said because of my music library. I have a lot of asian music with special characters so maybe it's the cause.
I will look into it.

The information I found states that xbmc Frodo is now in a monthly development cycle, and Alpha 5 was just recently released. With that said, my understanding is, Alpha 6 won't be released until October. Am I misunderstanding the information? If so, where can I find Alpha 6? (I know about the nightly builds, but was thinking that Alpha releases would be a little more stable.)
