Not sure whats happening here. I have had a problem with my QNAP, got that sorted but landed up with a different server name so deleted the old films folder and added it again. Try to scan and it crashes every time.

Its crashing due to one movie in your database which has a thumbnail which has a odd number of width pixels.
If this PR comes to an end sometime - your crash will be fixed:

OK thanks for that. Oddly on my mac mini running 10.6.8 and on my appletv2 no such issue, just on ML on imac.

its most likly that you have already cached thumbs there. The crash happens on initial scan with empty cash when xbmc tries to scale the thumb down...
