MP4 sound but no picture.... - zzzdeejay - 2012-08-09
I'm trying to make a bit of space in the house by ripping all my DVDs and sticking them on my media centre. I've been happily doing this for a couple of weeks (i've got a few!) and in the last couple of days i've had a couple of films that when played in XBMC display a black screen but the sound is fine. They play fine in Windows Media Player and VLC.
I'm ripping to mp4 (H264 + AAC) using DVDFab. Yesterday I ripped 5 - 4 are absolutely fine and one is as above.
I've also noticed that the ones that show a blank screen don't display the resolution media flag - not sure whether this is related...
Anyone got any thoughts??
