Hibernate doesn't work anymore - Bladerunner1962 - 2012-10-06
Hi,
until now I had no problem using the hibernate function in XBMC (HTPC Lenovo Q180, Windows 7, 64 Bit).
It worked pretty good without touching XBMC and/or Windows. Until now I didn't need the XBMCLauncher.
I have following problems now (I guess several Windows updates last time and Catalyst updates causes the
problems):
1. if I press now on my Harmony One the MCE keyboard button "Power Toggle On/Off" I get the XBMC screen
there I can select, how I would finish/end XBMC
In the past XBMC went into hibernate status automaticly
2. if I select manually "hibernate" in XBMC ...this works...the HTPC goes into the hibernate status
3. if I try to restart the HTPC from the hibernate status, the HTPC boots...BUT...I have always a black screen
...so I have to reboot the HTPC
The here named problem under "1." causes in addition to "2." and "3." this afternoon, after I tried (not successful)
using/installing XBMCLauncher
How can I solve the hibernate problem?
