Native TV Support plans?? - iceman89610 - 2012-10-07 Hi Guys, As a Mediaportal user (and a secret XBMC user ) I just wondered, are there any plans to put native TV support into XBMC? This is one feature that I need in my setup and to be honest, at the moment, I'm liking XBMC over Mediaportal. Thoughts?? I mean, for example, as a Mediaportal user, their TV server is flacky at the best of times. Using it will onlt drag down the good name of XBMC. I would have thought you'd be better off designing your own system. RE: Native TV Support plans?? - Ned Scott - 2012-10-08 It would take us several more years of development to do that, and we don't only not have the time, we also don't have the man-power to support that. There's way too much hardware to support, and for each OS. From what I can tell, if you use linux then use TVheadend, if you use Windows then use ForTheRecord.
