Early tests, working well using this with the settings you suggest gets past the point in the problem movie I always use to test, have left it running will update this later UPDATE: Worked perfect, problem film (The Campaign in HD) Played perfect, no sound glitches, no freezing, Have started the movie again, straight away, and will do again afterwards to see if it does cause xbmc task to restart UPDATE 2: Working well, Gone well past the bit in the movie where it normally goes wrong.... UPDATE3: Perfect, every time it plays the movie RE: Kernal killing xbmc task on 256 board - Trixster - 2012-12-26 Trying to download rbej's latest build from netload - it gets about 20mb done (at around 20kbs!) and then just stops completely. RE: Kernal killing xbmc task on 256 board - bartdm - 2012-12-28 hello all, i really admire all your work. But maybe i'm gonna ask a stupid question. Putting the buffersize at 2,6 megabyte can improve the hangups et sudden reboots. But the problem is overseas, we have sometimes a big "lag" in connectivity. A month ago i've used xbian , and that was with a cachebuffersize for around 200 megabytes which garantied a fluent video replay. Are there searches going for using the latest firmware & software & a much bigger framebuffersize for the 256mb board models? thank you |
