XBMC Frodo Rel Candidate 1 -Screen goes black - sammy410 - 2012-12-16
Tried Frodo Release Canidate 1. After a few seconds of display screen goes black as if the screen saver is activated. I checked all the settings and disabled the screen saver to no effect. Reinstalled Eden and I have no problem. PS, the new Audio engine is a great addition.

Did you also check System/Settings > System > Power saving > Put display to sleep when idle? Be sure it is set to "Off".

RC2 solved the problem whatever it was. I really like Frodo. It rocks

Problem returned with RC2. Can't figure it out. RC2 suddenly stopped displaying movie image for the listing. It showed only a white space. Then it started with the same problem I saw under RC!. As soon as the video would start, the screen would go black, there was still sound and the movie was playing. If I pressed a key on the keyboard, I was presented with the Windows splash screen as soon I clicked on the windows user icon, I was returned to the movie. Again, I solved the problem by reinstalling Eden.
