Evening!!
Been lurking around and more i read... more confused i'm getting.
Ok to the point!
I've been gamer for..too long and all i know how to put together is a beastly gaming rig but this time i decided (after spending quite a lot of time lurking several forums) to build HTPC and stop messing around with all external hdds and attaching laptops to tv... also that mess i make every time in living room.. :/
I'd like to build smaller htpc (will be Ubuntu based pc), powerfull enough to be used for surfing and some basic everyday stuff along with watching pictures, movies (dvd rips / mp4 / 720p stuff mostly) and music on 42" lcd (no gaming at all just basic stuff)
I need your help with buying proper CPU (low power and heat would be nice) and MBO that will be enough for my needs.
I already have HDD (128gb ssd and 2tb wd green), mATX case, 430w psu and 8gb (1600) ram
I'm not limited by budget but i dont want to spend for something i dont actually need. Just to be able to watch movies/ tv show and surf (wife's FB/youtube addict)
