Tablets as Remotes - 42yen - 2013-02-24
What specific features (OS, screen rez, etc) do you suggest for Android tablets that will primarily be used as an XBMC remote?
Along the same lines are there any tablets I should avoid all together?

Nexus 7 works fine using the official Android remote app and Yatse.
Another benefit is that I can stream music and videos from my XBMC system to the tablet via UPnP using the MediaHouse and MX Player apps.

I will have to look into those. I was thinking for streaming to tablets that the only option was Plex. Nice to know I was wrong. I've also heard there is an Android build for XBMC too. So much to learn!
I have not Googled it yet, but what is UPnP?

You need to have at least 10 posts before the [+/-] button for adding rep points is displayed on the lower-left corner of each post next to [PM] [FIND]. So, just one more post and you should see it.
