Azend remote on Asrock ITX help - warmage - 2013-04-08
Hello,
i got a Azend Remote withe the receiver , and iam trying to turn on asrock A75M-ITX

connected the CIR to the USB ports that is for the CIR (hooked to CIR PINs on MB) , i do get a signal when the PC is OFF
but i dont see the BIOS CIR setting , means its not detecting it
any one know if this Azend receiver works with this motherboard
oh and using latest BIOS

Hy warmage,
Just finished my HTPC setup today, A6-3670K CPU on Asrock A75M motherboard.
I have the same remote control and tried to connect the IR receiver to the front USB port connected to the CIR header and no signal there. I guess the CIR header works only with CIR modules, like Inteset and HDPlex.

yeah looks like that way , sadly inteset shipping cost is to high for me $18+
the Asrock CIR receiver should work if we can manage to get to buy the receiver alone
