Ember Media Manager Runtime problem? - JZS147 - 2013-07-02
Hi there,
I am using windows XP (yes i know its old) and I have downloaded the latest version of Ember (1.3.0.12).
Once installed and I try to run the following error comes up.
"Ember Media Manager.exe - .NET Framework Initialization Error"
"Unable to find a version of the runtime to run this application"
Can someone help with this please?

Try downloading the .NET framework

I did that already but it still doesnt work.
Is it because I am running windows XP?
OR
Is Ember Media Manager made for 64-bit only?

I loaded .NET 4.0 on an XP machine the other day. Ember is not 64-bit.
I did just find a post that says that an application's .NET framework and an installed .NET framework must match. The link I gave you was for 4.0, but I have no idea what version Ember requires, and a quick search did not provide a definitive answer. A poke inside the EXE did find numerous references to 2.0.0.0, so maybe it uses the 2.0 Framework. Sorry I don't have time to dig deeper right now.

Dang....I have tried downloading multiple 4.0 multiple times but it says i have to repair or install. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it still doesnt work.
