Thanx, I'll give it a try on the next update, then post my log if it doesn't work. Do you have any experience with the Titian Skin?
I have not messed with anything other than the stock skins provided. I will look to test skins once I get ptvl function to where I want it. Function first, polish later.

It does work using the special version you need to download in the 1st post. I'm using premium on the latest update right now.

Luna, I deleted the PTVL folder. Deleted cache. Downloaded 4.2a manually. Installed 4.2a and forced reset channels and selected my preferred settings. I know windowspatcher is still not working. Ran PTVL and it is still not working for me. Here is my log:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/w7n34uxybi6xryu/xbmc.log

Is it still corrupted? If it is then what more do I need to do?

howdy

having a minor issue - i've got a few channels setup to use a manual folder (mainly sports) that until a few days ago was randomizing. an update a few days ago seemed to kill that. everything else works fine (USTVNow, TV Shows, Movies etc)

is this something anyone else can confirm?

thanks

If im running Ubuntu 13.10 with gotham 13.1 should i still upgrade Librtmp? If so which one would be recommended?

Could anyone help me figure out why every channel only gets 8 or 9 episodes then those just repeat over and over in the same order. I have 900 movies and every episode of around 250 series so there should be many more shows per chan.

Edit: Never mind I completely missed the media limit option.

Unfortunately you always need to update librtmp to ensure compliance with most internet streams.

Ok I know this is a dumb question and yes I have read the original post of this thread over and over again...When I ssh the PseudoLive Master zip to XBMC and then install from zip it says dependencies not met please contact author. What the hell am I doing wrong. I've tried it multiple times and that's what keeps popping up. Any help would be truly appreciated and thanks in advance

Did you miss the part of the first post where Lunatixz lists the required Dependencies that have to be installed before ptvl?

I can't read your log right now but check and see what the folder names are for all your dependencies. I recently had to replace the metahandler and common dependencies. When I extracted them and moved them to my XBMC they both had '-master' at the end of the folder names. I didn't catch this and XBMC wasn't seeing them then. Might be worth a shot.

I checked my dependencies folders and I guess they are named as it is supposed to. I do find that I have two instances of requests and beautifulsoup. I have a requests2 and a beautifulsoup4. Is it supposed to be like that?

The thing is I haven't changed anything. The last couple of updates went awry for some reason. I checked my settings2.xml and looks like all the channels are scraped fine. It just that PTVL won't start. It just sits with a blank screen for hours. It's done this with previous updates but it's because I have a large library. The longest it will ever sit with a blank screen was 40-45 minutes. Now, 10 hours before I gave up.

Hi Luna

I just found this on page 20 of Milkman's Guide. It works just fine - woo-HOO - I've been wondering how to display the scroll line while inside PLTV.

Since there are so many MCE remote keys to which PTVL does not respond, could you assign a remote keypress to mirror the action of the "M" keyboard command ? Pretty please Smile

I will add something, If I forget... remind me Wink

Hi Luna

Is now a good time to remind you of this request ? Not sure which key makes most sense though. The "DVD Menu" key prompts the "Do You Want To Close PTVL ?" popup, so maybe it could be commandeered.

On a similar - but unrelated - note, is there any way to assign a remote key + keyboard press to trigger the CODECINFO display ? Last time I asked about this was here, but you had bigger issues to deal with.

It would be great (and maintain continuity with the rest of xbmc) if you could assign the "Guide" key to trigger CODECINFO. Presently I get no response in PTVL when it's pressed, so I presume there's no issue assigning it.

Thanks again Luna for the incredible work you do, making PTVL the topline addon for xbmc.
