There are those people both here and on the hub that are never satisfied with what he has provided, his response time (hours) and feel that their donation warrants an immediate response. Better hope that he does not get fed-up and abandon this project that the majority of us love so much and the few love-to-hate. Also, I think many here confuse Luna's to-the-point response style as him being mean, whereas it is much more likely that his brevity is the result of a lack of time and a need to be efficient. It seems to me that some posters here haven't developed much farther than Loevinger's early stages of ego development. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - peppy6582 - 2014-10-15 Please children, drop the donation shit. Let us move this conversation in a more productive direction. XBMC/KODI is FREE, PsuedoTVLive is FREE. There are hundreds of people out there creating skins/add-ons/programs for this community, that don't always do what people in their threads ask them to do. If you have a complaint about features, bug off to another thread, and bother those people, instead of bothering someone who actually delivers bug fixes and additional features every release. I spend a lot of my time responding on a phone using taptalk... i'm an engineer, I stick to facts and get to the point... I've often said don't hold your breath for me to say "please"or "would u" Doesn't mean i'm angry... just direct! [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Crispybishop - 2014-10-15 I'm the kind of guy who holds someone to their word. If you say you'll provide something, do so. If you can't, don't say you will. I think changing Post 1 is the best idea for all. And changing the donor feature timeframe was wise too. Good on you Luna. And for what it's worth, I'll be sending this refunded donation BACK to you once it clears PayPal. No donor features required. You're a good dev. Just easily misunderstood...whether due to brevity or unclear documentation. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - scilz - 2014-10-15 Lol Luna I don't know how you put up with these people I now understand why me and you had a argument before I would like to say sorry once again for my attitude that I had. And I spent months helping with stuff these guys just come here and shit on everything and don't even say sorry. [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - xavier.ba - 2014-10-15 I have no complaints so far! Every bug has been fixed, 200 plus channels , can't ask for more other than the mute thing!! I wish users would just be happy with what they have, and not demand so much out of me... I've already sacrifice so much of my free time to code updates (not looking for sympathy, it's my choice). A little understanding and respect is all I would expect... My PM's fill with demands, nobody asks anymore, lol RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - peppy6582 - 2014-10-15 Nice to see the thread settle down RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - scilz - 2014-10-15 Peppy when are you planning on releasing Ptvl manager? RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - peglegtv - 2014-10-15 I want to start by saying great add-on i use it all the time and my kids love it too so win win I'm trying to automate adding Christmas and Halloween movies to my library and PTVL Channels, and add a Holiday episode channel, what i have gotten figured out so far is : 1.) I created a .bat file to move my Christmas movies from a different directory to a folder in my movies folder (and a separate one for Halloween movies) and created a .bat file to move my Christmas movies from the movies folder back to the original directory (and a separate one for Halloween movies) 2.)I then use Eventghost to execute the .bat files on specific dates and send a update command with VoxCommando to XBMC (or a clean command if removing the movies) 3.) I created Christmas and Halloween movie Channels in PTVL ( if i remove the movies from the library then those channels are no longer shown ) now the problem I'm running into is that I created a playlist with all the Christmas Episodes i have, and created a PTVL channel for it, so i tried to remove the Playlist from the Playlist folder to see if that would stop the channel from showing up, but that didn't work i tried to Force reset PTVL and also tried to restart XBMC but the channel was still there. so what I'm trying to figure out is how can I automate the removal of that channel, I found that if i add this line Code: <setting id="Channel_6_rule_5_id" value="5" /> to settings2.xml then it disables the channel, so far all I can think of would be to use some type of script (AutoHotKey, .bat or VBS) to add that line of code to the settings2.xml at the end of the Christmas Season and then remove that line of code at the begging of the Christmas Season. but before i went full boar in that direction i thought i would see if someone would have another idea, i don't know much about coding just enough to get me in trouble so using a script would be my last resort any ideas or help would be great thanks and thanks for the great add on |
