Looks like a change in the arguments to xbmc.Player.play

As the Gotham API docs still remain the same as Frodo:

I guess this is a breakage in the Gotham Nightlies.

I don't think it's worth trying to keep up with the Gotham Nightly builds, too much instability. Once it is nearly at release stage, then it may be worth checking to see if it works - until then I think just Frodo support.

@rob_webset, this appear have one error in gotham nightlies, this seems to break xbmc.Player() in windows OS, I open trac for fix, thanks.

Hi All,

I have just published a new version of TvTunes (version 3.1.8), changelog:

v3.1.8

- Add ability to fade out the theme after a given duration

I thought this would be useful if you have loop enabled and wanted the tune to stop after a certain amount of time. I added this as an endless loop of something like the "Breaking Bad" theme (which is short) can start to drive you mad after a while!

Guys, do you actually have the 'get tune' button in movies? I've only got it (and working well) for TV Shows. Is this button implemented for movies yet? If so, is there any mod to the DialogVideoInfo.xml that needs to be done just as we did with VideoExtras' 'Extras' button?

Yes, it´s necessary other button for theme, again MQ 5 have support native for tv tunes. Others skins I believe need changes in info video for work.

Note that the skin changes currently in the wiki are aligned with the current repo code (Which I haven't generated a zip for yet).

You will need to patch for r74

I have just created a new Zip (v3.1.9) on the repo location:

This includes the following changes:

- Fixed scraper with none ascii characters in path

- Fixed movie TvTunes search button so searches for just the movie

- Improve start at random position to not show seek dialog

- Improve random start to not play the first second of the track

I have not make it the "auto-update" from repo - I will do that shortly as long as no-one reports any issues with it.

TvTunes does not playback music. I test only TvShows.
But,v3.1.8 is playback fine.

Thank you 999unreal, your fix works perfect, so we can keep playing themes for movies/tv shows within folders that contain non-ascii characters in their names. This fix also keeps the TVTunes script from stopping when facing this type of folder names.

- Improve complete search with stacked files

- Update scraper to check for all theme file types

- Support stacked files on some theme play back

- Add support for custom window theme playing

Note that this release is needed if you are going to run the latest VideoExtras addon (With Advanced listing screen)

Nice and hard work what you've been doing here on TVTunes 3.2.2. A major rework indeed.

I have double-checked all points discussed to find the Add-on is working like a charm now if properly configured. I look forward to read other fellows' feedback and suggestions here.
