It does this for me too. It's not a bug, but just depends on processing power I beleive.
On my windows machine or android box it acts as you describe.
On my high powered HTPC, I hardly notice it at all.

Ah ok. Its not just me then. My NUC is the 2.13 ghz Celeron version.
Out of interest what processor do you have in your HTPC that doesn't have this issue?

Extended script version 2.0.2 is available now in official repo, because this kodi update previous release, if you receive new screen, it´s caused by this new script (skin don´t have support at this moment).
One tip, use the previous version script in gotham, but change version number script for 2.4 or 2.5 for example.
