Anybody attempting to collect and present all the information you have made available through your posts would take not days but weeks of testing and testing for issues, trying to find the source of the problems. Serious testing is draining, takes as much time as creating, and its results are immensely useful to any developer in the quest for improving their creation.
I don't look at your contributions on this thread and in several others lightly, since they have lead to very important fixes and I am personally grateful just as I know other users and developers are. I encourage you to keep providing valuable and responsible feedback so everybody from users to developers can benefit from it.

For your information I previously PM'd MQ and introduced myself and I was very polite. However I wanted to put the list in to a forum post so I could keep track of them and add new items as and when and mark others as fixed etc.

I was a Microsoft MVP and on-line community leader in the Windows Media Center world previously before switching to XBMC.
I am not sure how much you can keep track of the hundreds of posts on the MQ5 forum thread? I spoke to Samu-rai first he suggested I should contact you directly.
I have compiled a list of my current issues / bugs and requests. Most of these issues have also been confirmed by other users in the forum.
My biggest three issues with MQ5 currently are the music fanart background images problems the YouTube search for music Artist Video clips / Song Video Clip doesn't seem to be working well. And all the movie trailer add-ons produce an addon.py error.
I am hoping you can look at this list and maybe resolve some of them.

Thank you for backing me up lol. I only want, like the rest of you for Aeon MQ5 to be a fantastic skin, it is already, but there are some minor issues here and there and when resolved it will be the perfect skin!
No doubt MQ is a coding genius and I only wish I had half of his talent, as it goes I test software and hope to improve it somewhat by contributing my feedback to the developers. I have done this for 8 years now in the HTPC arena from beta testing MCE on Windows Vista / 7 and having direct contact with the ehome team at Microsoft which resulted in many bugs being addressed before those Windows versions were released to the public, or beta testing for the MyMovies.dk team at their request for my input.
If I offended anyone then I apologize only trying to help improve this skin for the benefit of all of us.

Harybary, I understand the point you feel you were making, but this is an international open source community. MQ will have actually appreciated the post with a thorough list of issues and bugs, along with references to where it has been researched and discussed.
Rather than shooting someone down with the risk of offending them to the point of "no return", try to focus energies on positive things..
MQ, CW and everyone else who contributes to this community, I appreciate all the efforts (as has been demonstrated by my wallet a number of times), keep it up!!!
Anyways, back to it! Was going to report a few bugs I'm having, but now I feel I need to compile an organised list with references :p

Olà Marcos! I noticed some kind of bug: I can't change the icons of the wall view of my video extensions. They seem to be stuck on small. On the other hand, the background image in this view is either blank or default video image.
Anyone else experiencing this?

1) I was hoping to get an answer about the Movie Set view. Do I have to set the view I want inside each set, or is there a way to default a selected view.
For example, when I go into my Home Alone set, and I set the view to shelf, I then go to the Godfather set and it is not in Shelf view, forcing me to set it.
2) For some reason, when I have my furniture set to everything at the bottom, from the Music view, I can't seem to press up and get to the Next Tracks… If I School to Movies, and proceed to press UP past the Widgets, I can get them, but if I scroll to the Music heading, press up, I can't go past the Transport Controls...
Any help on either of these?

If you turn off all the views so it pushes you back to wide list, then turn them back on again, when you change the first movie sets view, it change all of them.

I don't think you can. You can change the panel colour in the skin settings, but I don't think that affects the menu bar.
You can make your own menu bar via the styles feature though.

Hi,
I've been using Aeon Nox for years and finally switched to this skin (the red theme is Perfect for Christmas time).
I'm not necessary the smartest guy around but I managed to configure everything as I like, however I can't figure out how to get an horizontal scrolling in Banner mode.
I just like to have a coherent environment and if I browse my movies with the showcase view, I like my TV shows to use the banner one.
Any tips on how to achieve that? I can't seem to find the option for it.

Yesterday, changes in gotham code, broken skins Aeon MQ5 and Ace (gotham version), don´t use today nightlie release, stay release 12/03/2013.
Cause was PR 3757 or 3759, after commited in master broken skin widgets, no more arts or data in home.
