Acer Aspire XC-105 - wessy83 - 2013-10-21 Hi Everyone, I've done a search for this but couldn't find anything. Just wondering if this would be suitable to run XBMC? Specs: AMD A4-5000 Quad Core 4gb Ram 500gb Hard drive AMD Radeon HD8330 graphics. At £160 it looks ok to me but I'm certainly no expert! RE: Acer Aspire XC-105 - Meelisv - 2013-10-21 Kabini APU is perfectly fine for XBMC Case looks quite nice too for PC. RE: Acer Aspire XC-105 - wessy83 - 2013-10-21 Thanks Meelisv, Case looks really nice, so does the price RE: Acer Aspire XC-105 - wessy83 - 2013-10-21 Forgot to mention I'll want to run this on Linux, will this still be ok? RE: Acer Aspire XC-105 - Churada - 2013-10-21 Where can you get it for £160, Amazon.co.uk have it £259.99 ? The XBMC plays smoothly. Even the largest file of 1080p of any format plays brilliantly. VLC plays smooth as well. Beware: Some people complained about lack of usb3 driver on Windows 7. The downloads on Acer website is for Windows 8 And some ppl complained about Ubuntu that the Xbmc was jumpy. |
