Need help with add-on of radiostream - tafkam - 2013-11-13
Hi Guys,
Just stumbled upon this great Media Center. Using it with much pleasure.
I have a question: I would like to add a radio station add-on to XBMC, but..... I don't know how?
Is there someone who can help me with this? Maybe someone who has done this before?
In the first place the add-on is for my personale use. But why not for everybody?
Would like to hear from you guys! Maybe a PM?

You can see if your desired station is available on one of the music add-ons: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Category:Music_add-ons
Or you can try creating a playlist or strm file to the stream for your station: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Internet_video_and_audio_streams

Yes,
My station is available in one of the add-ons.
But I want to make a special add-on for our station only, if possible.
I tried also to make a strm file, but unfortunatly it does not open in XBMC. Is there another way?

You might be able to save that station within the add-on as a favourite. If so, you can then play that station directly by selecting the favourite from the Favourites menu or, if your skin supports it, you can create a homepage shortcut that launches that favourite.
